Member Code of Conduct
Alite Global – Member Code of Conduct
Effective Date: 31 January 2024
As a member of Alite Global Limited, you are part of a professional and collaborative community that values respect, integrity, and mutual support. Our Code of Conduct sets the standards for how members are expected to interact within the community, ensuring a positive and productive environment for all. By adhering to this Code of Conduct, you contribute to fostering a respectful and enriching experience for every member. Alite is a home for our Members. We aim to be a space where you can be yourself and feel nurtured, empowered and supported.
1. General behaviour
All members are expected to treat fellow members, staff, and partners with respect, courtesy, and professionalism at all times. Harassment, discrimination, or any form of abusive language or behaviour will not be tolerated.
Alite Global is committed to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion. Members should embrace these values and contribute to creating a welcoming environment for individuals of all backgrounds, identities, and experiences.
Members must conduct themselves with honesty and transparency in all interactions, whether online or in person. Misrepresentation or fraudulent behaviour is strictly prohibited.
2. Professionalism in Communication
While members are encouraged to engage in discussions and provide feedback, all communications should be constructive, respectful, and free from personal attacks.
Members must respect the confidentiality of other members and the information shared within the community. Unauthorised sharing of personal, professional, or proprietary information is strictly prohibited.
3. Platform Governance and Social Code
The views held by our platform community are not those of Alite.
Members sign up to our values and principles of conduct. We monitor the Alite Noticeboard but are neither held accountable nor responsible for the views and actions expressed by our members. In the event that we need to revoke membership, we can take any action we deem appropriate in our sole discretion, including closing or suspending membership.
This Code of Conduct sets out the content standards that apply when you upload content to our site, make contact with other users on our site, link to our site, or interact with our site in any other way. It should be read alongside our Platform Terms & Conditions.

How we expect our Members to behave
We ask all of our Members to behave in a way that is respectful, inclusive and supportive towards everyone in the community including fellow Members, Partners, Suppliers and the Alite Global team.
Remember that you are in an inclusive community. This community has a shared profession but counts among its Members those of different ages, nationalities, religions, cultures and backgrounds, with different knowledge, ability and experience to you.
Communicating online through text can, at times, lead to misunderstandings, so it is important to give other people the benefit of the doubt, reach compromise and civilised disagreement, and be kind in your interactions: sometimes it’s difficult to know or fully appreciate the situation of the person you’re talking to.
If you disagree with someone’s ideas you should discuss their ideas, rather than criticise or attack them personally. Do not persistently argue with another Member of the community. If you aren’t able to resolve your differences, you should stop communicating with them.
We consider a personal attack to be any negative comment directed to or about an individual that is about them personally, or uses personal information against them. This applies to comments directed at fellow Members, Partners and Alite Global team members.
The community will not tolerate Members who use words or share content that is offensive or inflammatory. This includes, but is not limited to, language or content that is sexist, racist, homophobic, transphobic, antisemitic, islamophobic, sexually explicit, abusive, contains swearing or is otherwise likely to cause offence.
Alite Global does not moderate communication on the platform but we reserve the right to remove without warning any content or communication that does not comply with this code of conduct.
How to report a problem
If you feel uncomfortable throughout any personal interaction on the platform, or want to give feedback about a vendor, supplier, or partner, we encourage you to get in touch at membership@alite.global
The complaints and disciplinary process
Once a complaint has been received, a member of the Alite management team will gather background information and arrange a time to speak with the parties involved within 7 days of receiving a complaint.
After those discussions have taken place and all information gathered, Alite management will liaise with the membership team personnel to reach a resolution. All relevant parties will be informed of this decision within 7 days of the conclusion of evidence gathering.
In the instance that an Alite team member notices inappropriate communication or action, an internal investigation will be opened and the individual(s) will be notified and asked to submit any evidence or explanation within 7 days of receipt of the request. This information will then be discussed with the Alite management team as per the process above.
Sanctions may include, but are not limited to: a written warning; temporary suspension of membership or complete removal from the platform.
